Preble County is a Work Ready Community

What is an ACT Work Ready Community?
ACT Work Ready Communities (WRC) empowers states, regions and counties with data, processes and tools that drive economic growth. Participants are leveraging the ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) to measure and close the skills gap — and building common frameworks that link, align and match their workforce development efforts.
The ACT NCRC is awarded at four levels, based on the scores achieved on the three component assessments - Applied Math, Graphic Literacy, and Workplace Documents.
- Platinum: Scores of Level 6 or higher on all three exams
- Gold: Scores of Level 5 or higher on all three exams
- Silver: Scores of Level 4 or higher on all three exams
- Bronze: Scores of Level 3 or higher on all three exams
